Mother Daughter Journey – Spring
March 31 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm£40 – £270
A journey for mothers and daughters at the Tortworth Forest Centre.
Join Leona and Bec on a journey designed to bring you closer together.
We will explore our connection to each other and to nature across the seasons.
* Foraging * Woodland Craft * Nature Connection * Wild Seasonal Food *
Bec and Leona will bring their respective skills and experience to our new series, the Mother Daughter Journey, three woodland days spread across the year starting on Mothers’ Day.
Each day will include amazing seasonal food with foraged ingredients – Leona’s passion for food is well known, and she is the brains and taste buds behind the St Werburghs City Farm Cafe in Bristol (which happens to be HoneyWoods’ home from home).
This is a chance for you to spend meaningful time in nature learning a range of skills – from bushcraft, foraging, herbal medicine and campfire cooking – in a supportive and inclusive way among the trees at Tortworth.
There are three events, in spring, summer and autumn, each focusing on a tree; birch, elder and hawthorn. We will explore the medicinal uses and folklore of each tree in depth together.
We are creating space for you to explore and deepen your relationship with your mother/daughter among the beauty of the trees.
Please note that we welcome any mothers and daughters who identify as women in any way – we recognise that these labels are often fluid and evolving.
Tickets cost £100 per session for mother and daughter. We offer a 10% discount if you attend all three sessions at £270, and you will both receive a branded HoneyWoods enamel camping mug!
