Willow Weaving Day

April 20 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

£10 – £40

Join Bec and Tora for a gentle introductory day of weaving with willow.

Choose between a simple bird feeder or an egg basket and learn the basic techniques used to turn this versatile plant into something functional and beautiful.

We will gather around the fire to learn about the willow tree and it’s folklore, with campfire coffee and tea flowing. Bring your packed lunch with you so that we can keep weaving all day!

Both Bec and Tora have a love of this very special tree – from growing them at the arboretum to learning how to manipulate the natural material into sustainable usable objects such as baskets and  decorations; more beautiful than plastic, 100% biodegradable, and full of the joy of a hand made craft.
